Prayer Requests / Upcoming Events

August 2017 Praises:

• For blessing on Legazpi church both in adult attendance, Sunday school, and now a new high school class on Sundays as well.
• For more open doors for ministry this past month, bringing us to 28-30 ministries activities per week in Legazpi.
• For successful ongoing Discipleship Training School (DTS) – about 20 participants from the church continue to participate every Sunday afternoon in this class on basic doctrine. I thank God also for the grace and strength I need every week for preparing it all.
• Wisdom from the Lord as He continues to clarify in our hearts here the direction and process of ministry here in Legazpi.
• Continued help with my back issues.

 

September 2017 Prayer Concerns:

• Consistency of weekly student ministry – though we have many activities, in recent weeks many have had to be postponed due to sudden changes in student schedules or school pressures. Please pray for God to prevent this where necessary and give us wisdom to work around these volatile schedules of the students.
• Established ministry in the High Schools – though we have ministry to students in 4 high schools, we don’t have established ministries in the schools themselves (unlike Bicol University, where we are accredited). Please pray God will help us get more established so that the ministry will have a better base from which to work long-term in each school.
• Wisdom – in designing and matching the ministry to the student culture of 2017 and present God’s truth in a way they can receive it and internalize it.
• Work of the Holy Spirit – both in us doing ministry here, as well as in the hearts of those to whom we are reaching out.
• Personal walk with the Lord – in all the busyness, I can maintain a vibrant growing relationship with the Lord, so that my ministry can be an overflow of what He is pouring into my own life personally.
